During the first few weeks after menstruation begins, women’s menstruation periods are often or more likely irregular. It usually takes or needs several years to get balance hormones so thus the menstruation can be controlled properly.
In the end of menstrual years, the menstrual cycles are also more likely very irregular. - PID or ‘Pelvic Inflammatory Disease’, as the name implies it can lead to infection or inflammation of the ovaries, uterus, or fallopian tubes, which eventually may also give a significant contribution for abnormal spotting.
- IUD (an intrauterine device)! It is one of birth control types that usually inserted to the uterus.
- PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome)! It is a condition that represents of a hormone imbalance that can cause abnormal bleeding, because it can interfere with the normal ovulation.
- Something wrong in the pelvic organs (like a kind of infection, which usually caused by STDs ‘Sexually transmitted diseases’), particularly after douching or intercourse! The pelvic organs include ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, vagina and uterus!
- And midcycle bleeding due to ovulation!
There are also some less common factors (rare cases) that also can lead to vaginal bleeding, even can cause a serious health problem, such as: (a) extremely excessive exercise or emotional stress, (b) cancer in the pelvic organs (especially ovaries, uterus, cervix or even vagina), (c) uterine fibroids, (d) sexual abuse, (e) urethral prolapsed (a kind of structural problem), or (f) an unwanted-object in the vagina!
