Good Eating Plan for Healthy Heart

It is undeniable that the health of your heart is also associated to what you eat! Therefore, it is so important to have a good eating plan in order to keep your heart healthy. You should know that there are a lot of researches result clearly evidence  that the poor habits or lifestyles can generate heart attack and increase the risk of heart disease.

And the following are some helpful checklists of good eating plan to keep well the performance of the heart (explained by David Colquhoun ‘cardiologist and professor of Queensland University in Brisbane’ –published on www.au.lifestyle.yahoo.com):
  1. Reduce the consumption of cream and butter!
  2. Salmon is welcome idea to keep the health of your heart; it contains a high amount of Omega-3! Therefore, consume it at least once a week. Don’t forget also to select canola oil.
  3. If you love drinking alcohol, make sure you enjoy it in moderation! You should know that moderate to small consumption of alcohol is welcome idea for cardio-protective and will be useful for better performance of cognitive function in your older age. You can drink beer or wine daily (up to 2 standard drinks), but make sure the beer & wine with only 20-5 g of alcohol (lower alcohol is much better for the health of your heart).
  4. Be varied on consuming vegetables and fruits every day.
  5. Include Mediterranean diet in your menu! Choose some key components of this diet, such as onions, a serve of tomatoes and a handful of nuts.
  6. Consider also to consume tofu, soy yogurt, or soy milk for a few times a week! There are many advantages by consuming soy. Soy can help to save cholesterol, calories and even fat. And ‘25 grams of protein of soy a day can lower the risk of heart disease’ – according to FDA Approved Health Claims associated to soy.
In addition, be more relaxed in your social life! Create friendly environment with your neighborhood and avoid any conflict that can make you stress.
