What you should do in the first week?
- Don’t be afraid when viewing the scale. It is just a tool to monitor your weight, so thus don’t assume it as your big enemy.
- The steps in the first week should be directed to familiarize “What & how you eat”! Avoid weighing during this week!
- For the first week, record and analyze what you eat! Get to know and familiarize what you eat! You can use your camera to capture any foods that you eat if necessary to get completely data of any food that you eat for a week.
- Analyze the portion size of foods that you eat. Get the conclusion about how many meals you tend to have per day, and how tend to get or prepare your foods.
What you should do in the second week?
- Begin to weigh yourself periodically /day (particularly when you wake up, after each of your meal, and before you go to sleep). Keep save the data for next few days!

- Stop eating your favorite foods that contain higher calories. Prioritize to choose and eat fresh foods that ‘low in fat, calorie, and cholesterol’ and ‘high in fiber and protein’. For example, avoid cooking the foods in any fats or oils (fried foods), or eliminate sugar (cut down on unnecessary extra sugar). However if you can avoid unhealthy foods, you will get much better result to lose weight without exercise!
- Don’t let dehydration attack you! It is so important to keep hydrate in order to maintain the metabolism level of your body. Many studies found that people who drunk more mineral water /day can burn more calories than people who drunk less mineral water /day!
- Avoid eating fast food (or junk food). It is much better to prepare your fresh meal at home!
- Reduce snacking, especially from unhealthy snacks. Avoid eating salty snacks, because they can make you crave more! If you want to get snacking, be careful on choosing one! You can try snacking with chunky peanut butter, handful of nuts, or even you can try snacking with fruits that you like.
