4 Bad Things You Have to Avoid at Your Desk!

It is undeniable that today there are a lot of people (particularly for anyone who works indoor ) who spend most of the days just for sitting on the chair (office chair) and working at desk (in front of a monitor of a computer).

If you are one of them, you could spend long hours (up to 8 hours or even more) a day at your desk and chair. Well, there are 4 bad things you have to avoid at your desk in order to make sure you keep productive, fit & healthy!

So, let’s to the point, below are 4 mistakes you should definitely avoid at your office computer desk:

Position your knees properly!

Talking about the proper position of your knees, then one of the most frequently mistakes is knees crossing!  Consider the position your knees properly and avoid crossing them!

You may know this issue clearly, but you may often ignore this advice! Crossing knees when sitting (especially for sitting long hours) is bad behavior that will cause a buildup effect of pressure in the legs that eventually also can cause a serious back pain in long term.

You sit on your chair for long hours continuously

Perhaps, you have a deadline project or a deadline task that must be finished immediately, and this situation will make you never taking a break from your office chairs more than 4 hours. This is not good and you have to avoid it!

Whatever the reason, you have to take a break for a few minutes from your chair (at least for every 60 - 45 minutes or less).

Consider the level volume of your earphone!

You may think loud earphones are great idea to keep you rock on (more excited) while doing a lot of tasks in your office room. But too loud earphones are not too good and even can cause the damage for your eardrums. So, it much more recommended setting the volume of the earphone not too high, particularly if you want to wear and use it for long hours at your desk.

Distracted eating

If you have a diet program and at the same time you have a tight schedule to finish a lot of deadline tasks, then you may get distracted-eating. Mix working and eating at your desk will be so bad for your diet!

Therefore, it is so recommended to take a few minutes (a break) from your office chair and desk, then move to a certain area to eat more focus on your plate.

In addition, you can choose healthy snack (a packet of trail mix, protein bars or nuts) if your get a grumbling-stomach in the afternoon. And this idea also will be better to eat the snack away from the desk in order to avoid over-eating.
