In general, you can choose to use self-treatment (without a doctor diagnosis or use nonprescription medication) to cure your yeast infection, only if:
  1. You don’t have recurrent infections.
  2. You are not pregnant, because it is too risk if you take self-treatment without a doctor diagnosis while you are being pregnant.
  3. You don’t get STD (it is sexually transmitted disease)! If you have been exposed to it, you need a medical exam first to find the best treatment that you should choose!
  4. In the past 2 months, you get the diagnosis of yeast infection! But your yeast infection symptoms are clearly a recurrence of the infection.
However, if you in doubt about your condition, don't take the risk on your own! See a doctor to get more detailed information and for a completely examination, diagnosis, and best advice of the treatment!
