You can also consider participating into a helpful yoga program that will be helpful to burn your calories with your baby (if you are pregnant). This option is also welcome if you have too young kids.

Motivate your family to keep active from your family room!
As well we know that there are some rooms of your house that can offer comfort zone of laziness, like a family room with a complete video-game console, DVDs, and a comfy sectional sofa which will make your family spend a lot of time in there and eventually can lead to nothing to encourage physical activity.
Therefore, it is not too bad idea to organize well the weekend day of your family. You can try with subtle reminders and determine a time limit on weekly TV viewing, or even you can redecorate the room if necessary.

The right outdoor activities
In fact, outdoor activities will be more challenge to make your body move more! Therefore, it is not too bad idea to plan aside one day (weekend day) for an outdoor activity, such as; hiking or sledding in the winter, biking with your family in the autumn or spring, swimming with your family together in the summer.
Then after good workout, you and your family can take along a picnic lunch (don’t forget to involve only healthy snacks), so thus they can enjoy more their outdoor activities without a complaint.
